Mary is the CEO of Cyfendry Consulting and a founding executive member and chapter leader for the Women’s Society of Cyberjutsu (WSC) in Dallas, Texas. WSC provides its members with the resources and support required to enter and advance as cybersecurity professionals. Mary began her cyber career over nine years ago with Molina Healthcare. For the past nine years, Mary has served in governance, risk assessments, compliance, technology audit, cybersecurity advisory, and cloud compliance roles. Most recently, she serves as a Manager, Cloud Security Compliance and Governance. 

Throughout her management tenure, Mary facilitated several high-level projects for public and private organizations across the United States. In addition to her passion for cybersecurity, Mary served on the ISACA Exam Quality Assurance Committee as an SME, who developed and analyzed examination materials for the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) professional certification. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity and various technical and management certifications (ITIL, CISA, CISM, CDPSE, AWS SA, etc.) All in all, Mary is committed to advocating for improving lives through personal mentorship, educational training, and career support.
