Sam Olarewaju is a Cybersecurity expert and one of the lead instructors at Lanosteach. He holds a M.Sc. in Information Systems Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University, and various technical and management certifications (CISSP, CEHv8, SANS).
He has 15+ years experience with technical expertise in Incidence Response, Network Security Engineering, Systems Administration and Advanced Security Architecture. His professional experience spans through the United States and African Countries, with working collaborations throughout the world facilitating high-level projects for private organizations and Federal agencies. In his current position, he serves as a Senior Security Operations Manager and Team Lead designing and implementing information security threat response tools and processes for security operations teams to prevent, detect, analyze, and respond to malicious activity and/or anomalies.
He also provides oversight on operations and performance of team members. Sam is committed to building a community of black Cybersecurity experts and honing then with skills required to succeed through personal educational training, mentoring, networking and career support.
